Codi Miller-McIntyre powered Zvezda with 26 points, while former Green Nemanja Nedovic added 22, Filip Petrusev scored 16 and Luka Mitrovic had 13. Miller-McIntyre’s triple gave Zvezda an early lead, before Petrusev scored twice at the rim either side of a Konstantinos Mitoglou corner three for a 7-7 tie. Three-point plays from Grant and Gabriel sent the host ahead, and Miller-McIntyre and Nunn traded inside blows before Mitoglou made another three-point play. Miller-McIntyre stayed hot with another pair of triples, before Cedi Osman’s deep strike was quickly answered by Dejan Davidovac, Miller-McIntyre – with his fourth triple of the quarter – and Nedovic for a 23-26 Zvezda lead at the end of the first. Hernangomez and Yurtseven joined the three-point party early in the second, but Mitrovic scored twice at the other end and Miller-McIntyre’s driving layup kept Zvezda ahead, 29-32. Lorenzo Brown’s slaloming score and a pair of Hernangomez deep balls forced a lead change, but Zvezda fought back with Petrusev at the rim and Nedovic from deep, 37-38. Nunn and Nedovic continued the long-range shoot-out, before Miller-McIntyre returned with another layup. Rokas Giedraitis and Petrusev dunked, and another Nunn three-ball made it 47-49 at the break.
