Alice Springs is home to the cultural center of Australia, and has some of the most beautiful hikes in Northern Territory. The best time to go to central Australia is in the winter! We went in July and the weather was perfect. The West MacDonnell Ranges is home to Standley Chasm, Ochre Pits, Serpentine Gorge, Ormiston gorge, Ellery Creek Big Hole, Simpson Gap, and Glen Helen Gorge. The Kangaroo Sanctuary is the best experience in Alice Springs and we highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the center of Australia. It was home to Rodger, the most famous kangaroo in the world! We may be silly and mildly poetic but in the end we are just trying our best to entertain you guys!
