A day after Israel eliminated the presumed successor of Hezbollah, the Iran-backed Hezbollah targeted Israel in its latest aggression. Hezbollah approximately fired 40 missiles that crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory, some of which were intercepted by Iron dome. After the Iran-backed group fired missiles, sirens blared off and echoed loudly while the local Israeli population ran for safety. Hezbollah has been launching rockets against Israel for a year in parallel with the Gaza war and is now fighting it in ground clashes. The latest escalation in Lebanon, after a year of Gaza war, has raised fears of a wider Middle East conflict with rising conflict b/w Iran and Israel.
