Bachmann 32-816NF Class 47 Colas Rail fitted with Legomanbiffo DCC sound. The Class 47 was purchased with the Loksound V4 DCC sound decoder already fitted and is using the Legomanbiffo DCC sound file, the body hasn’t been removed as yet so I’m not sure what speaker has been fitted but it sounds pretty good on first impressions. The video demonstrates the various ‘F’ sound functions on the Class 47 which is pulling a rake of 8 empty ‘Revolution Trains’ IWA timber carriers around the layout. Also in the video you’ll see the Hornby Class 60 in GBRf livery which is pulling a rake of 16 ‘Accurascale’ IIA Biomass wagons. The is my first Bachmann Class 47 I have purchased and I must say it’s one of my favourite locos currently on the layout, the body feels sturdy and the loco has a good solid weight, the quality is great, it looks great, and the legomanbiffo sound file sounds absolutely amazing, selecting the ‘Drive-lock’ and thrashing the engine revs is very enjoyable to listen too, and the best part of it all it runs perfectly on the layout without any hitches.
