Lal Ded Hospital, GMC Srinagar, Celebrates 76th Republic Day with Patriotic Fervor January 26, Srinagar: Lal Ded Hospital, under the aegis of Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar, celebrated the 76th Republic Day with enthusiasm and a deep sense of patriotism. The celebration commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag by Dr. Muzaffar Jan, Medical Superintendent of Lal Ded Hospital, alongside Prof. Samiya Mufti, In-Charge Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The event witnessed the presence of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Resident Medical Officer (RMO), Medical Officers, paramedical staff, ministerial staff, sanitary workers, and other dignitaries. In his address, Dr. Muzaffar Jan praised the commitment and tireless efforts of the hospital staff in delivering quality healthcare services. He expressed special gratitude to those who donated blood, acknowledging their significant role in saving countless lives. Dr. Muzaffar further lauded the collective efforts of all staff members in maintaining the hospital's reputation as a leading healthcare institution in the region. Prof. Samiya Mufti, speaking on the occasion, highlighted the importance of Republic Day as a reminder of the values enshrined in the Constitution and the responsibilities of citizens towards the nation.
