It is extremely easy to get GM time with this gear and strategy. This inventory setup usually allows me to get 10-kill trips (mushroom potato, prayer potion, and ranged/super combat potion drops are common and can extend trips more if you want). The strategy: Summon a mage thrall or ranged thrall. Blowpipe walk to Dawn's southeast corner for 7 hits, then venator bow for rest of P1. She will fly away at around 250hp The earliest time you should death charge is around the start of P2. If it comes off cooldown at any point later in the kill, use it immediately. Optionally summon a melee thrall (Dusk is immune to the magic/ranged thralls) DO NOT hit Dusk until Dawn has completely disappeared, otherwise you are guaranteed to hit a 0. 3 scythe hits before his special attack. Ensure you dodge the boulders and his blinding attack. This can be done with 0 tick loss if using a 5t weapon Crystal halberd special when he is around 285hp or lower. All extra damage carries over to P4. He will go away at around 250hp. At start of P3, resummon mage/range thrall if needed. Go to east side of Dawn. Do 3 blowpipe hits, and then venator bow until she is dead. Run out of P4 prison attack (or go on the 1 safe tile on the perimeter if you're pinned against the wall, see 9:04) Optionally summon a melee thrall. Use dragon claw specs during this phase if possible. You can also opt to instead use a crystal halberd special as a finisher, but if your halberd does not hit high enough, you will lose a significant amount of time. Notes (assuming max gear unless otherwise stated): Gear recommendations: Camp ultor ring and primordial boots If you want, aranea boots add ranged accuracy and do not lose a scythe max hit, at the cost of some melee accuracy and defense Echo boots are also very good but cost 1 max hit Pegasian boots add almost no DPS at all Lightbearer is arguably superior if you are not using a scythe Venator ring does not give a max hit unless you are using an assembler instead of quiver. Blood fury can significantly extend trips but at a much higher supply cost especially if using scythe Dragon claws are best general spec weapon. Crystal halberd has higher DPS potential but needs to be used properly and can cost time with bad RNG. Venator bow with double bounce is highest DPS on Dawn, followed by blowpipe Other notes: Dawn is immune to the melee thrall Dusk is immune to the ranged and mage thralls To minimize damage, always stand within melee range of Dawn and pray melee. For the first few blowpipe hits you can pray ranged, but this is not at all necessary. For phase 4, pray against whatever style Dusk used last. I do not know if it is better to start with praying melee or ranged. Bring runes for thralls and death charge For extra PB potential, you can bring runes for vengeance and spellbook swap, at the cost of less inventory space and shorter trips. You then stand under Dusk in P2 or P4 to trigger the venge. You can save 1-2 ticks by manually using your rock hammer on Dusk and Dawn. This is faster than the auto-smash slayer reward but will lose time if you use it prematurely. If Dusk's prison attack pins you against the wall, you can safely stand on the one open tile at the perimeter (see 9:04) With 10-kill trips in this setup, you can usually pick up the vast majority of your loot if you alch the rune/dragon items with an explorers ring.
