Uno sforzo cominciato a febbraio del 2011 e terminato a ottobre 2011, una creazione ispirata a un’altra moto di Talamo, la Softail Cumaggia fa’:«Ho utilizzato un serbatoio della XLCR del 77, adattato grazie a quattrocento ore di manodopera per renderlo più basso e più lungo, per rifare il tappo della benzina e i tunnel lavorati a mano da un battilamiera locale». Le ho dato il nome Severa per le linee spigolose che comunicano la percezione di un mezzo testardo, forte e allo stesso tempo elegante.
