Rooftop Tent & Campfire Overlanding is vehicle-supported, self-reliant adventure travel, typically exploring remote locations, camping, and interacting with other cultures. Overland camping is what my family and I were doing on this adventure. After a lot of outdoor gear preparation, we loaded our off-road teardrop trailer by off-grid trailers and headed for the Trans-Labrador Highway. We were hauling the trailer with a very capable, full-sized off-roading truck, the Chevrolet Silverado ZR2, and an amazing Overlanding pick-up truck and were hoping to venture off the Trans-Labrador Highway onto some backcountry discovery routes. After completing the Trans-Labrador Highway (god willing), we planned to take a ferry over to the island of Newfoundland's Northern Peninsula where we'd fly into a remote outfitter's cabin and hunt moose before heading out on several amazing treks in Gros Morne National Park. In all, we'd be on the road for an entire month. This is the first video in a multi-part series I'm running on my channel so please stick around as the episodes will just get better and better.
