Why would you want to do this? because the board goes bad, or you accidentally flash with incorrect firmware and it kills the board. This is not regular maintenance you should have to do! Only in cases where the board is dead! I fried the board during a firmware update. Sorry posted and didn’t write good description :p I was flashing up to .900 in assistant and I left in gimbal lock and cover and house was hot. Mavic overheated, fan turned off and all leds turned red. Mavic shutdown and wouldn’t power back on. I let it cool and powered on, it wouldn’t connect tomcomuputer or rc, fan was off and it would heat up enough to cook eggs on. I think it had to do with leaving gimbal lock and cover on and overheating. I replaced th board and all good. Not related to moddin params or the firmware tool, it was all dji’s process.
