EQ Shaping: With the LED Comp, I crank up the high EQ before compression, creating a tight, powerful snare that cuts through with a great natural tone. VU Comp on Mix Elements: Switching over to the VU Comp, I experiment with less intense compression while maintaining a balanced sound. I love how switching compressor types instantly gives different tones and vibes! Real Hardware Feel: Both the LED and VU compressors capture that "hardware" feel, sitting naturally in the mix without sounding overly processed.
