In this Trainz Railfanning video, we'll see an intersection located at the entrance to the California - Hawai'i Connecting Bridge. There is a four-track railroad crossing. Two tracks are used for the Shinkansen High-Speed Line which connects Washington State with the Mexican Border. The more than three-thousand-mile-long bridge has eight tracks. For for a Bullet Train that connects Honolulu, O'ahu with Las Vegas. Originally, I was planning on having it go to the Big Island, but I researched what would happen of lava were to touch concrete and it's not pretty. The water in the concrete would evaporate, causing the rocks to crumble, destroying the bridge. I figured it was safer to have it go towards an extinct volcano instead.
