I was both on the naming ceremony in Barcelona in April 2024, and a weeklong cruise a month later (and have done over 100 other cruises apart from that one). Sun Princess is the newest (and biggest) ship in the Princess Cruises fleet and also the first ship in the new ship class; sphere class. Next ship in this class, Star Princess, will be launched in 2025. These ships have a passenger capacity of 4310 and a tonnage of 175 700.
