Many of us probably dream about travelling the world – but that’s an expensive fantasy right? Well not for Othmane Zolati from Morocco. The then twenty year old had never left his home country before he set off across the continent in 2015 with only eighty dollars in his pocket. What happened next was an almost four year, thirty thousand kilometre journey through twenty four of Africa’s countries, by foot, hitch-hiking, skateboard and bike. His incredible trip has now been turned into a documentary film, called Africa and I, which is not only entertaining audiences – but smashing stereotypes at the same time. Andre managed to catch-up with him to find out more.
