The Chapel of Senhora da Lapa, located on Penamourinha Hill, in Soutelo, Vieira do Minho. This chapel, built in 1694, stands out for its originality in having been built inside a rock. It is also worth highlighting the entrance door dating from 1898 and the various inscriptions engraved on the ceiling and the framed painting with the history of the sanctuary written by Father José Maria Machado in 1851. In the immediate vicinity of the sanctuary there are a bandstand, several fountains, the installations which provide support during the annual pilgrimage (on the second Sunday in July) and a viewpoint. VRM PR7 - from Sra da Lapa to Castro de Anissó There is a small circular route, starting and ending next to the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Lapa. It is approximately 10 km long, lasting around 4h30. It can be done by all ages, at any time of year. It is a very exposed route. It presents several cultural and natural points of interest along its route.
