I recently picked up a Wiard/Richter/Malekko Anti-Oscillator, and in playing with it started to make comparisons. It occurred to me that the Verbos Foundation Oscillator was fairly similar, in that it's also a "normal" VCO with a waveshaper attached. Mind you the AO (as I will call the Anti-Oscillator from now on) doesn't have a wavefolder per se, it's...different. But similar enough to the basic approach of wavefolding that comparing the two seemed appropriate. They're both "timbre-ed" as it were. So here's me walking through each of them knob by knob, seeing how their sounds compare. Envelope: Zadar. Sequencer: Stochastic IG. Modulation VCO: Dixie II+. 00:00 Intro 00:20 Anti-Osciilator 02:45 AO with FM 10:20 Foundation Oscillator 16:10 FO with FM
