In October of 2025, The Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia presented a free seminar for College students called: Breaking into Broadcasting: Your College to Career Panel. The panel moderated by 92.5 WXTU morning show host, Andie Summer, featured Keith Jones, NBC10 morning anchor, Chris Blackman Temple University's Klein College Director of Career Services, Shannon Boyle, Assistant Producer for the Andie Summers show, Digital marketer Rachel Bromberg, NBC10 News Today anchor Keith Jones, and multimedia storyteller Nick Murphy. The seminar covered a wide range of topics from AI to how to get an internship to how to establish your own brand. Close to 50 students got to hear advice from the pros and even network and get answers. The project was organized under the supervision of BPP Chair Leigh Richards and President Lora Lewis. Student Engagement chair Ed Dress worked with Immaculata University's Jacqueline Jewell and Melissa Hope Rice, Temple University's Joe Schreiber and Chelsea Scruggs, Andie Summers of 92.5 XTU, and Beasley Broadcasting's Jim Antes. Held at XTU's studios in Bala Cynwyd, Temple University's TUTV shot, edited and packaged the entire panel and air the show on their network. Special thanks to TUTV General Manager, Joe Schreiber and Kevin Gruen, the student who shot and edited the panel.
