American Liver Foundation created a Project ECHO program for healthcare providers that brings treatment and prevention best practices for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), now known as metabolic dysfunction- associated steatotic liver disease, to non-liver experts. The Liver Health ECHO Program is a virtual community of practice developed to equip healthcare providers with the necessary skills to treat and prevent NAFLD among their patients. Within this network, participants gain support and mentorship, enhance their skills, and connect with leaders in the field all at no cost. This video is a recording of the third session titled MASLD Screening and Testing. We are joined by our presenters, Adam Buckholz, MD MS, NYPresbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center Balakrishnan, Maya, MD, Baylor University Timestamps: To learn more about ALF's Think Liver Think Life program, please visit our website at https://thinkliverthinklife.org/ For more information about the American Liver Foundation, visit https://liverfoundation.org/. The nomenclature for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) has recently changed to metabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) has been renamed to metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Fatty liver disease is now called steatotic liver disease. Thank you.
