'Future of Built Environment' | Kasetsart Architecture 25 Years

Kasetsart Architecture celebrates its 25th Anniversary with the International Seminar and Workshop “Future of the Built Environment,” held on 23–26 January 2026 at Kasetsart University, Bangkok. The Public Seminar on 23 January 2026 brought together three internationally recognised scholars: Professor Selma B. Peña (University of Lisbon), Professor Juan Carlos Dall’Asta (Xi’an Jiaotong–Liverpool University), and Professor Hocine Aliouane-Shaw (ENSAP Bordeaux), moderated by Associate Professor Dr. Singh Intrachooto. The keynote lectures and round table discussion explored ecological planning, urban morphology, participatory design, artificial intelligence, and the future of architectural education. Rather than focusing on final design objects, the dialogue emphasised long-term thinking, ethical responsibility, ecological integrity, community engagement, and process-based approaches as foundations for shaping resilient built environments.
