---- PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION FOR MORE INFO--- So in this video are 5 different versions of a short solo by Dan Mayo. This is an an idea I had for a while to show some of the different options there can be for the same solo. I hope this gives you an insight into how I go about arranging these weird songs. Maybe this could inspire some of you to give it a try! I tried to make them as different from each other as possible. Hope you enjoy! Here's how each one started out: 1. Writing the bass line by playing a note on the strong kicks 2. Writing the melody from playing a note on the strong snares 3. Some creepy things 4. Figuring out a stab pattern based on the strong hits, making it seem more like a solo section for the drums 5. Some nice guitary things Also, just as a side note. I am currently sailing around the Caribbean aboard P&O's 'Brittania' Cruise ship, working as a guitarist. So it's a little tricky to upload the videos as I have to find good wifi at ports, so that is why I've been quiet recently.
