State Playoffs! Is there anything more compelling? Skyline takes on Bothell in Week 11, this time on our home turf looking to advance and seeking a bit of revenge for the Week 2 loss at Pop Keeney. This game will become a classic. Spartans are pumped and know what this game means. Skyline makes the opening 2 drives count, grinding out long drives, including a 99+ yard push on the legs of Prescott Wong taking a 14-0 lead and the D stifles the Cougars. Bothell finally breaks through, but with the Cougars driving late in the 1st half, Andrew Yu strips Bothell QB Jacob Sirrmon and Matthew Cindric scoops up the loose ball and flys 70 yards for the TD. Cindric key all game long with pressure, multiple sacks and great O-line play for the Spartans. Halftime finds Skyline up 24-7. Bothell comes out firing and eventually takes the lead 28-24 early in the 4th.. The Spartans know what they have to do, going on a 6 minute drive and taking the 31-28 lead with just two minutes left. Bothell tries to light up their high power offense one last time, but denied on a HUGE pick from Will Carson. The fogs rolls in and the Skyline turn out the lights on Bothell. Final 31-28. The last game for 2017 on the home turf is a W for the Spartans - head east to Spokane to play Central Valley for Week 12
