I prefer Philadelphia Cream Cheese because they are the best. I've tried other brands and it's not as creamy tasting. But you can use whatever cream cheese you can get. Just know it will be much better with this brand. Happy baking in your rice cooker! EASY RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES: New York Style Cheesecake INGREDIENTS 3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs (or crush Oreo cookies, skip the sugar if using the cookie filling as well) 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted 1/2 cup sugar 2 packages of 8 ounce cream cheese, soften (or 2 cups) 1 tsp vanilla 1 container of 8 ounce sour cream (or 1 cup) 2 eggs Aluminum Foil Baking Paper Toppings of your choice (optional) INSTRUCTIONS 1) Line the rice cooker with aluminum foil and baking paper 2) Mix graham cracker crumbs, 2 tbsp of sugar from your 1/2 cup and melted butter, then spread it on the bottom of rice cooker. I used a measuring cup to flatten it down 3) Mix cream cheese, the rest of the sugar, vanilla and eggs (add one egg at a time) 4) Carefully pour batter into rice cooker, making sure it does not get outside of the linings 5) Bake for 4 cycles, (about 2 hours) or until batter is set 6) Cool at room temperature for 2 hours then chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight, before cutting it.
