Sydney Australia was struck by over 200,000 lightning strikes within a 2 hour period from 7:30pm - 9:30pm last night (15th January 2025) producing a Intense Barrage of Close Lightning Strikes & Constant Flashes from a Severe line of rapidly moving storms developing as it got closer to Sydney and then dissolving once arriving close to the ocean, then producing some beautiful positive CGs! I apolagise about the video having some audio adjustments and random cuts, my family was over and they were super excited / shocked at how intense the lightning & wind was This year has easily been my favourite year for storms here at Sydney! - although they are not necessarily frequent, each storm is action packed often leaving me speechless and mesmerised!
