Miniature Aircraft Whiplash with Wren 44-K turbine

Whiplash turbine conversion using the very nice Hubschrauber.de kit designed by Inkos Modellsport. This is just the second flight. I never film on the first flight since there is already plenty of pressure/distractions. This second flight was short, landing with 40% fuel remaining. Although it's hard to tell from the video, the sun was setting behind the hills and it was getting quite dark. My flying was very tentative and careful, being only the second flight. Think of this as just a "proof of existence" for the heli for now. I'll come back with some more exciting flying under better conditions as I get more comfortable this new helicopter. So far the verdict is: awesome! The engine is a MW44H which flew for over 3 years in a Bergen 44 Magnum. It went back to Wren to get the new internal kero-start upgrade so I guess it's correct to call it by the new 44-K designation.
