VCSA 2026 Explained | Format, Teams & Road to VCT

VALORANT Challengers South Asia 2026 is officially set to begin, marking the return of South Asia’s Tier 2 pathway to the global VCT ecosystem. Organized by NODWIN Gaming in collaboration with Riot Games, this season will feature teams from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan and Maldives competing for a chance to rise through the competitive VALORANT ecosystem. The season begins with Open Qualifiers from 7 March to 11 March, where teams will battle in a single elimination Best of Three format. The top teams will advance to the Open Qualifier Playoffs, where the bracket shifts to double elimination. From there, the best teams will secure their spot in Split 1, joining invited teams like S8UL, Revenant Esports and Dot EXE Esports. Split 1 will feature 8 teams competing in a single round robin format, with every match played as a Best of Three. At the end of the split, the top teams move forward to Split 2 while the bottom teams face Promotion and Relegation. Split 2 raises the stakes even higher. Only the top teams will qualify for the Playoffs, where a single elimination bracket will decide the VALORANT Challengers South Asia 2026 Champion. The Grand Final will be played as a Best of Five. Apart from the main circuit, VALORANT Game Changers South Asia 2026 will also run alongside the league, continuing Riot’s push for inclusivity. The winner of Split 2 will advance to Game Changers Pacific, representing South Asia internationally.
