Master Samar Bansfore, 7 years old, was suffering from chest pain, difficulty in breathing and blood while coughing and after further investigation, the patient was diagnosed with a mediastinal mass. The patient was operated on with a Video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS). The surgery was done successfully and the mother of the patient thanked the doctor. This is one of the fewer known cases of VATS in the pediatric population with an anterior mediastinal mass. The patient has recovered fully and living a healthy and normal life. Prof (Dr).
