More videos coming soon :) This is a way to draw a golden ratio rectangle and spiral, using the principles of sacred geometry. The golden ratio is a proportion which mathematically is represented by the number φ (phi) = 1.618033... It is an irrational number, which means that the number is infinite and does not repeat. The ratio of the golden section can be found in nature in countless places, including in plants, but also in the human body. For instance, in the length of the forearm to the wrist, compared to the length of the hand from the wrist. In nature, not all proportions are mathematically perfect, but as in this case, it approximates the proportions of the golden ratio. If you measure your forearm and hand, you will probably conclude that you deviate from the norm slightly. If you would measure the arms and hands of many people and if you took the average, then you will almost certainly come closer to the ratio of the golden section.
