Easy and Delicious Pork Loin Recipe Ingredients: 560g (19.8 oz) of pork loin 1 large brown onion 5 cloves of garlic 200ml of hot water 4 tablespoons of all-purpose/plain flour 5 tablespoons of sour cream 5 tablespoons of spicy ketchup 5 dried bay leaves 1 ½ teaspoon of dried thyme 2 teaspoons of smoked paprika 1 teaspoon of garlic granules Salt and black pepper Instructions: 1. Cut the pork into strips 1 to 1 ½ cm (0.4 to 0.6’’) thick. Slice the onion. Finely chop the garlic. 2. Transfer the pork to a bowl. Add paprika, garlic granules, thyme, 1 teaspoon of salt and ½ teaspoon of pepper. Mix until well combined. Add flour and mix until the strips are well coated. 3. On medium-high heat, heat some oil. Cook the pork for 5 minutes until golden brown. Flip over halfway. Set aside. 4. On medium-high heat, heat some oil. Sauté the onion for 3 minutes. Add the garlic and mix for 30 seconds. Add ketchup and sour cream. Stir until combined. Add the pork and mix until combined. 5. Pour 200ml of hot water. Season with salt to taste. Stir for 20 seconds. Add the bay leaves. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Uncover and give a quick stir. Turn off heat. 6. Serve with mash potatoes and salad. Enjoy! Notes/Tips: The pork can last in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Normal ketchup can be used instead of the spicy one.
