Voice Driven Agentic AI Development Workshop 2: Building a Simple SaaS Tool

Christopher Collins from Austin Public Health led the second session of a three-part workshop series focused on voice-driven AI development. This workshop focused on using voice prompting to build a simple SaaS tool with a web agent. Chris walked through the end-to-end development process, showing how SuperWhisper (an AI-powered voice-to-text tool) and Claude Code can be used to create a policy plain-language converter app. He covered each stage of development: research, brainstorming, creating user stories and requirements, defining a project requirements document, planning sprints, creating an orchestration document, executing the orchestration plan, and refining the final product. Chris highlighted several key concepts, including how documentation and a multi-stage development process prevent AI agents from losing context during long tasks, reducing agentic drift, how version control enables easy rollback of errors, and how explicit constraints produce better output than open-ended requests.
