Off to MARBURY MERRY DAYS 2024 in the Ford V8 Pilot

Marbury Merry Days is a traditional country fair/fete with different displays taking place over two days in May. One of the attractions is a display of classic cars, so we decided to head down in the 1950 Ford V8 Pilot and take a look to see what would turn up for the Marbury Merry Days 2024 on a particularly bright and sunny Cheshire day. The video begins with the old Ford receiving a little TLC and prep, not least sprucing up the swathes of bakelite in its interior and also treating the bodywork to a quick wash and brush up. This is followed by our day in Marbury, displaying the V8 Pilot and also looking around the other displays, not least a very impressive American civil war re-enactment group. The visit of a BBMF Spitfire was also much appreciated by everyone. Old cars featured include a Bond Equipe, two Mk1 Cortinas, AC Ace, vintage Star tourer, 1950s Bentley, Morris Marina, Hillman Avenger Tiger, a rally-prepared Lancia Fulvia, Gilbern estate and others.
