Surfing Cape Three Points, Western Ghana. Mission Moto - Irish and Frenchman's unknown adventure!

Howzit, what is cracking!! Join me on an adventure into the unknown. I flew down to the depths of western Ghana to learn how to become a better surfer and over the course of a week I made a fantastic new friend in a wild Frenchman, Julian! Julian at the time was the surf instructor at the hotel, Ahanta Waves eco-lodge. Julian had learned from the local surfers about all the different breaks along the coastline and as time was coming to a close and my trip we chatted about the possibility of doing a surf trip along the coast. On the final day Julian organised the rental of two motorbikes, and the beginning of amazing trip came to fruition. We drove to my motorbikes into the unknown from Busua to Cape Three Points. Along the way we start in villages with no names, crossed a completely wooden handmade bridge with our motorbikes met some of the nicest people. Safe to say the motorbike mission was an adventure in itself and really where the memories stand out. On arrival to Cape 3 Point we met local surfer legend Loshe who showed us where the local surf and unsurprisingly, madman Julian picked out a break which to Loshe's memory no one had ever surfed before. There was a shine in Julians I like I've never seen and there was no way he would be told he wouldn't be able to surf the wave. Understanding the potential threats Julian made his way out into the surf and safe to say the rest is history. What trip, what a place, what a time!
