Interview with Burgundy winemaker Alexandrine Roy at Domaine Marc Roy in Gevrey Chambertin. She takes us through the history, the micro-climate and the winemaking process for Gevrey-Chambertin Clos Prieur. This clos is just south of the village itself, below grand cru Mazis-Chambertin. Part of Clos Prieur is village appellation, part is premier cru. The Domaine Marc Roy wine comes from the former part. Shot on location at the domaine and out in the vineyards.
