Join us for a day of exploration in our Lille, France Vlog! Come explore with us as we wander through the cobblestone streets, visit iconic landmarks, and discover hidden gems in one of our favorite cities. Not to mention the lovely Weiner dog, Jeff, with different colored eyes. Our journey begins in the AirBnb where Kimball appears to have some SERIOUS problems in the bathroom. And did he wash he hands? We may never know. Next, we move on to Lille Old Town Center, where we visit the stunning historic Opera De Lille, take a peek at the central train station and marvel at the striking clock tower that Kimball is STILL convinced is a Zara Home....We'll let you be the judge. After I was nearly swallowed by a treacherous playground, we take to the quaint cobblestone shopping streets of Passage Des Arts and Rue De La Monnaie to the unrivalled Meert Patisserie, this city is oozing with charm. We also give you a tour of a stunning church that took over 500 years to build (come see what the fuss is about) and a NOT so stunning church...You really have to see it to believe it...And let us know how YOU feel about it in the comments, LOL. And let's not forget our unique dining experience in a plant shop/cafe. Will I ever find out who flipped me off in the restroom? Will Kimball get past his gag reflex and finish his meal? Only one way to find out! And definitely don't miss the remarkable La Vielle Bourse second hand book market where we observe exhausted men playing chess, stunning vintage books and beautiful posters.
