The National War memorial spread across 40 Acres in the India Gate complex, was built as a tribute to the soldiers who laid down their lives for the country be it in the Indo-China War in 1962, India-Pakistan war & even the Kargil Conflict of 1999. It was inaugurated on 25th February 2019 by Prime minister Narendra Modi and is designed on the frame of a chakravyuh with 4 chakras. Timings to visit is 9:00 AM-7:30 PM during November - March and 9:00 AM-8:30 PM during April - October National War Memorial is open daily except on certain days & entry is free.
