Present themselves in full Lea Valley Academy uniform: All students are expected to wear the Academy blazer and black school leather shoes. Trainers are not permitted unless they are being worn for PE. Ties: Clip-on tie only, with the top button of shirt/blouse fastened. No variation on the shape of a tie. Jewellery: One ring, one watch, one set of stud earrings (one in each ear lobe). No facial or tongue piercings. Hair: Hair must be of a natural tone with no extreme colours. All classrooms are equipped with high-quality screens, and each curriculum area has its own suite of rooms including a dedicated ICT room. Specialist areas include a state of the art 3G astroturf, a language laboratory, seven ICT/business rooms, ten science laboratories, a recording studio, fitness suite, a dance studio and two drama studios. At Lea Valley, we believe it is very important to come together as a community, and we are fortunate to have an impressive Assembly Hall where the whole school meets for a full school assembly weekly.
