I decided to visit Punta Cana independently, renting an airbnb minutes away from the famous Bavaro beach, and spending a few days exploring this part of the DR, including Cap Cana and the famous Juanillo beach, taking a boat trip to Saona island where the blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed and eating plenty of fresh seafood! At the end of my trip I decide whether I think visiting Punta Cana is worth it and is hyped up to all it’s said to be.
