*LAST DAY* Stagecoach operating 96, Arriva operating B15 & 472 in service (24th January changes)

Today marks the last day of the 472's existence, the 96's day with Stagecoach and the B15's day with Arriva. This overall is such a sad change as I really like how the current routes are running and where their contracts are set. On the 24th January 2026, JTB News states that the 472 - operated by Stagecoach London using Enviro400 Hybrids from Plumstead [PD] Garage. The route will be withdrawn and replaced by new express route SL11. At the same time, the night service will be renumbered to N472 and will run the same route and frequency as the night service on 24-hour route 472. Both new routes will pass to Go Ahead London - London Central using brand new electrics - but New Routemaster's in the meantime from Morden Wharf [MG] Garage. The 96 will pass to Arriva from Dartford [DT] Garage temporarily using Gemini 2 B5LH's before it gets BYD BD11's. It is currently operated by Stagecoach London using Enviro400 Hybrids from Plumstead [PD] Garage. The B15 will pass back to Go Ahead London - London Central from Bexleyheath [BX] Garage using Enviro 200 Darts then it will get brand new Wright GB Kites. This is a sad day for Stageoach and Plumstead [PD] Garage as they are technically losing 2 routes, but a good day for Go Ahead London gaining 3 routes and a win/loss for Arriva at DT.
