After crossing to the West Coast, we made our way to Nelson, stopping at Cable Bay Adventure Park along the way. In Nelson, we spent time exploring the city before taking a day trip to Abel Tasman National Park, New Zealand’s smallest national park. While there, we kayaked along the coastline, hiked through the lush trails, and spent time on the beach. We also got to see Split Apple Rock, a massive boulder perfectly split in half, sitting right in the water.
