Jimi Hendrix was one of the biggest names in music over the course of the 1960s thanks to his guitar and vocal work with his band The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Sadly, 1970 ended up being the year that Jimi Hendrix was taken from this world for good. Jimi became one of the early members of the 27 Club, and both Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison would follow him within the very same year.
