This trolley is a loop route that goes in the street of Grand Avenue. The trip starts and ends at Douglas Road Station. At that station, passengers can transfer to the Miami Metrorail (Orange Line and Green Line) and Miami-Dade Transit Metrobus (Routes 37, 40, 42, and 136), and Coral Gables Trolley (Route Ponce de Leon). In my opinion, this is the best way to get around Coral Gables without a car. Also, it's very nice to board a Gillig Trolley Replica bus because you don't usually see it around South Florida that much. The Hometown Trolley looks boring than the Gillig bus because you always see it on all trolley routes. I believe this is the only route that operates the Gillig Trolley Replica and the Hometown Trolley Streetcar runs on Ponce de Leon. The ride is free-of-charge.
