Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office stated Saturday that the Trump administration's announcement of a Gaza executive board was not coordinated with Israel and runs counter to government policy. The board, unveiled Friday, includes Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, whom Israel strongly opposes, given its repeated objections to Turkish involvement in Gaza. Other members include UN special coordinator Sigrid Kaag, an Israeli-Cypriot billionaire, and a UAE minister. Foreign Minister Gideon Saar will raise the issue with Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
