Bagilina village is one of the main villages of the Misima Island and lies on the North Coast of Misima Island. Bagilina consists of main hamlets of Wakwak, Manihuna and Lalama. The constructed main road comes as far as the boundary between the Liak and the Bagilina villages, and could not progress any further to Bagilina, due to the terrain been steep and rugged with such big boulders of rocks. Lack of such main road development denies access to and from and thus makes life quite difficult, however and despite that, the Bagilina people and like all other villages in and around island, including those of the many islands, they do not take such lack of development on such services as issue and hindrance to affect their daily lives, as they have faired well with and in life ever since and are still doing so to date. The dinghy ride from Ebora village was quite long, but it was very entertaining, adventurous and enjoyable, as the weather was just fine enough and truly I really have enjoyed it very much, and certainly for my family as well. Actually, this was my first time to travel to Bagilina, but as well as to Bwaniewa and Ewena villages, which had become the main cause of my joy, excitement, fun and adventure. And true, just like the South Coast, the North Coast of Misima Island is also truly very rugged with the mountain steepness's running right to the beach and the sea, but despite that, the village people still find ways to do gardening, cut timber for building private houses and as well as other needed development services buildings. I did enjoy the trip, the journey and I really hope you really have enjoyed watching as well, and hope you have now seen a good part of the Misima Island. Finally and if you do enjoyed it, please do SUBSCRIBE and as well as GIVE IT A THUMBS-UP. Note, coming up in the next video presentations will be the Walk Through the Bagilina Village, from Lalama right through to Manihuna hamlets and to my traditional roots, the Wakwak hamlet. Thank you.
