Dutch outlet RTV Utrecht claim Souffian El Karouani is on his way to West Ham United, with the FC Utrecht left-back widely regarded as one of the Eredivisie’s top creators. Nicknamed the “Assist King”, El Karouani is a set-piece specialist and a player very much in the mould of what West Ham are missing down the left. When asked directly about the move, the 25-year-old didn’t shut it down either, admitting: “It’s a great club. My agent is working for me. I’ll wait and see.” At the same time, West Ham are also exploring a move for Jørgen Strand Larsen from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
