A Wedding filled with love & passion with friends, family and their guests at the Historic St. Matthews Cathedral in Washington DC followed by the spectacular reception/wedding celebration at Oasis Winery in Hume, Virginia. This Wedding featured 28 Bridesmaids, 28 Groomsmen, 8 Flower Girls, 2 boy ring bearers. Highlights included best friend and Twenty Time Grammy Award-Winner Claude McKnight performing in Cathedral & at Oasis, a live 16 piece Choir, Herald Trumpets, A Live Orchestra during pre-reception, a 36 piece Big-Band during dinner & dancing, the barrel room & tasting room turned into late night dancing, concluding with a 30 minute MegaFireworks Show! Wedding was filled with the whos who of best friends from Washington DC, Virginia and guests from the entire globe that attended this wedding that celebrated Love & Passion! Featured wedding speakers were United States Supreme Court Justice Kennedy, Her Excellency Ambassador Margaret Heckler of Ireland, Family Member/Uncle Eddie O'Malley, former HR Director for the CIA. Tareq Salahis inhouse Oasis events team executed the logistics, organized transport for nearly 1,000+ guests to the vineyards, utilizing 28 Limousines, 8 Motorcoaches on shuttles from DC to Oasis, coordinated with US Park Police & DC City Police to close Rhode Island Avenue during ceremonies and organized a police motorcade escort from DC to Oasis to ensure everyone made it for SunSet! Countless other incredible logistics and behind the scenes were in the works to make this wedding of the century a perfect experience for everyone to remember forever. Highlights during reception: The First Dance Interior Fireworks Interior jumbo white Balloons throughout that exploded with Fresh White Rose Petals 6 Foot Wedding Cake, with 8 layers. Ozio presented a specialty Chocolate Martini Action Bar for all the guests Catering featured 3 Full Time Sushi Chefs, and 8 action stations from everything you can imagine! Vintage Wines were served from Oasis first vintage in 1979 through the eighties, nineties & current releases during the wedding. A Customized Rose Champagne was produced by Tareq Salahi for his bride entitled Celebration Cuvee, including one customized Nebuchadnezzar ( worlds largest champagne size bottle). And Yes - it was all consumed very quickly by the guests. Wedding Favors included customized gifts from Cartier, Jivago perfumes & Oasis Winery bottles of wine with a personalized thank you label on the bottles. Customized etched Champagne flutes and each wedding guest received a vine in their name that is planted at Oasis.
