When you want to have a clean GUI (Graphic User Interface) that only shows the necessary controls and functions without having to look at all the patchcords and other objects, "Presentation Mode" is the way to do it. "Presentation Mode" is the way your patcher would/will look when it is an "application". Remember, Max is technically a "programming environment" which means it can output your patcher as a stand-alone application. When you are in "patching mode", you are building the application -putting together the building blocks that make it work. You don't really want to see all those building blocks, however, when your application is finished. In this Tutorial, we use our Timer from the last Tutorial and put it in Presentation Mode.
