On this episode I build a cheap tool to remove and reinstall the spring retainer from the input drum for a 4L60e. Also I show how to convert the tool so it can be used on the low reverse spring retainer too. My buddy hooked me up with a 1998 Pontiac Trans Am. This Pontiac Firebird is powered by a LS1 and moves only if pushed down the hill with no help from the 4L60e automatic transmission. 6 months ago I installed a junkyard trans and gained only 2 gears...
