Eastwood Classic Tenor Demo

Eastwood's Classic series tenor guitar is a full-hollow maple-bodied 4-string thinline guitar with a pair of EW-Retro humbuckers and a wood bridge. It ships tuned C-G-A-E (low to high), like a tenor banjo. That sounded too plinky to me, so I've tuned this one A-E-B-F# and it sounds meatier. Ditty is recorded direct from outputs of Kemper Profiler into a Tascam R-26 wave recorder. KPA profile is my tweaked version of the "Converter Clean" - the Seymour Duncan Convertible. The real amp was one of my favorites, and I like it in the KPA as well. You hear the guitar with no pedals; gradually I bring in the Jackson Audio Bloom for light compression, Source Audio Nemesis for stereo slapback, Chase Bliss Brothers for drive, and an Electro-Harmonix Pitch Fork to fatten the low end. I haven't had the tenor guitar for long, and I'm finding both very entertaining and as musically versatile as I'd hoped.
