Bolt Action Terrain: Cars & Trucks. For me the terrain on my battlefield looks a bit sterile without signs of life such as animals, civilians and vehicles. There are a number of 3D printable cars out there, but not many at the moment, so I’ve looked for alternatives. I came across the Days Gone models by Lledo and they have a scale, whilst not exact is certainly passable. Days Gone models can be found all over and I often pick them up cheap at car boots, or charity shops. They come in a variety of liveries but with a little effort you can change these to match the country that your battle takes place in. These Days Gone models are like a cheap version of the old Matchbox Models of Yesteryear and as such do have some noticeably plastic details, but with paint, washes and weathering this can soon be overcome. This isn’t a definitive guide but hopefully it’ll give you some ideas of how you can utilise them too.
