Their dreams have turned to ruins, Their lives to rotten flesh, In a world that profits, From their descent into hell. They are the lost ones, In a world of decay, Falling deeper, As the light fades away. In a world divided, By destiny and fate, Some chase their demons, While others celebrate. Where shadows and light unite To blur the line, They’re all addicted and confined To the figments which might align. This dwindling spiral never ends And the others turn a blind eye, Ignoring the anguish, As the lifeless, as the lifeless cannot cry. As long as sorrow is worshiped, The suffer will burgeon. Feeding on the empty shells, To keep their hunger alive. Their hearts are cold as stone Filled with freezing emptiness. As long as sorrow is worshiped, The spiral will grow steadily. This dwindling spiral never ends, Fueled by endless greed, Profit from the pain, Is all they truly need. They are the lost ones, In a world of decay, Falling deeper, As the light fades away.
