July 12-14, 2018, we made another Trip for the Weekend in Search of the Soul of Russia – in Suzdal! In Suzdal we've been 10 times already and will come here again and again... And recommend! And always overnight! On July 12 we late in the evening, after work, I boarded the train and went to the city of Vladimir. Walked through the city, from the train station to "Golden Gate" - here we had booked a room at the hotel! 13.07 in the morning we visited the main sights of the city, boarded the bus and drove to the village of Bogolyubovo, where is the Holy Bogolyubovo convent. Then on foot through a gorgeous field went to the Church of the Intercession on the Nerl. Back, could not refrain from additional spending rode on horse to the train station. Well, in Suzdal – the main our purpose of the trip on these days! Suzdal is always adorable, but I especially love him in the evening when leaving the crowds, the heat subsides and you can wander the ancient streets... to have the Sun on the walls of the monasteries and the Kamenka river, listen to the birds and jingle bells! In the morning we went to the Spaso-evfimiev monastery to hear the amazing bells in my film You will have a chance! Highly recommended! Suzdal in the morning already boiled and raged a people – pleasing! More and more people began to go to Russia – we notice! On the market Square – it was not crowded! Cucumbers, tomatoes, honey and Mead, kvass and ice-cream, Souvenirs and embroidery – smartly there was a trade to one and all! On the way we went to all the Churches and monasteries, got soaked by a sudden warm rain, drank Mead, and tea with pancakes. I was surprised that the Kremlin was surrounded by a fence and sold the ticket for passage... If for a good cause, then so be it! The largest recovery was of course in the Museum of wooden architecture and peasant life – where was the epicenter of Cucumber Feast. The organizers have taken care about safety, and that all was fun and exciting and small and old! And at the end of our stay we realized dream – a ride on a Moto-raft on the river Kamenka!
