Homeschool Astronomy Course for Middle School Grades | Literature-Based Course About Space Science Let me give you a look inside "Discovering the Wonder's of the Universe;" a literature-based guide to studying Astronomy. I created this course for my own children because I couldn't find anything I liked for teaching this subject, and have polished it up so that I can share it with all of you! It uses beautiful, nonfiction information books as its spine, activities/experiments, additional literature (novels, graphic novels, fiction and nonfiction), and linked YouTube videos. This guide is a 1/2 year (or a year, if you like to draw things out like we do) course intended for the middle grades (5th through 8th), but can be adapted up or down depending on how you use it.
